The baby brother of the V10, this clean sheet design was introduced for the 2008 season and immediately proved itself as the best privateer engine, finishing 3rd at the LeMans 24 hours on its debut. The dominance has continued in 2009 with pole position and victory at Barcelona, 2nd place at LeMans and victory at Silverstone. The Speedy-Sebah team dominated the Michelin challenge, winning by a huge margin. Again, it is the best privateer engine.
