Great results at Petit Le Mans

OAK Racing handsomely rewarded for their endeavours

Four OAK Racing designed and manufactured Pescarolo-Judd cars were entered in the 2011 Petit Le Mans 1000 mile endurance race on Saturday. The race is traditionally a gruelling event due to the nature of the short, undulating circuit and number of cars entered. The 2011 race was no exception, with multiple incidents and yellow flags during the nearly 10 hours of running. At the end of the eventful race, the 4 Pescarolo-Judd chassis were all still running strongly.

The 2 OAK LMP1 chassis achieved remarkable results, finishing 4th and 7th overall, comfortably beating the Toyota & Mazda powered entries, not to mention the 2 works Audis!

In the LMP2 class, the United Autosports entered car finished 2nd in class and won the prestigious Michelin Green X challenge. The Oak racing entry finished a very creditable 4th in class after multiple car repairs were necessary during the race.
